I am graduating in March with a Bachelor of Arts in Food and Nutrition from the University of Washington, where my coursework has focused on food systems, sustainability, and public health. I am also a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, allowing me to combine systems-level thinking with individualized, root-cause nutrition support. In the short term, I am building a personalized practice supporting women with hormone and energy imbalances, with a long term goal of connecting individual care to broader public health and food system change.

For my capstone, I worked on a multidisciplinary team to develop the biodiversity section of an Eco-regional School Gardener’s Almanac designed for 6th grade students. Our goal was to translate complex ecological and food system concepts into accessible, age-appropriate content grounded in local environmental priorities.
My role focused on research, content development, and adapting scientific material into clear educational language. I collaborated closely with teammates across climate and systems sections to ensure consistency and integration within the larger project. We partnered with a local community organization, which helped us align our work with real regional needs and practical application for educators.
Through this project, I strengthened skills in science communication, systems thinking, collaborative teamwork, and translating academic research into community-centered resources.
